Just a little Coronavirus humor...because if we don't laugh, we will most likely cry.
I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble. ~ Helen Keller

What to Do?
What is a person to do with lots of time on their hands amid this social distancing situation? The four of us took a drive yesterday to get out of the house. Not just any drive, but a 45 minute drive to the nearest Taco John's for lunch!
Because all the restaurants' dining rooms are closed to patrons right and Mother Nature decided to provide us with rain, we had a picnic in the car!
With time on our hands for an indefinite amount of days, who knows where our next adventure will take us! Time will tell.

Yum... good food was had by all!

Groundhog's Day...
Every day seems to feel like the same around here these days. It's a little like Groundhog's Day. That's why I can't really tell you what day these pictures are from... just that they have been some fun moments from the past week.
We are finding ways to beat the boredom and make the best of each and every Groundhog's Day!
The girls have done some eLearning - some with the help of dad!
Sullivan baked us some muffins...
We've gone on walks... LOTS of walks!
Family Game Night...
Quinn came out victorious!
We've had snuggle times...
Quinn took a stab at dying my hair... and did a mighty good job!
Sullivan met up with her classmates (via Zoom). It was SO good for the soul for her to be able to see her friends, even if it is over the internet!
Some Nintendo time...

It's Pouring...
We are surprisingly finding a lot to do around the house, given the circumstances. One of our boredom busters from earlier this week was pour painting. Pour painting is a funky kind of paint, a bit thinner than normal paint, that spreads easily when dumped on a canvas.
In needs to be noted that none of us have ever tried this before, so it took a little trial and error to see how it would work.
I'd have to say that round one turned out pretty good. We have enough supplies to try again later when we need another distraction, but it is going to be pretty hard to beat what the girls already accomplished!

Before...
To preface this post, I wholeheartedly support and agree with the social distancing and closings of schools, businesses, gyms, and more. If we are going to flatten the curve and help eliminate the Covid-19 and alleviate the stress and burden on the healthcare system, we all have to do our part. I'm good with that.
But before the world shut down and we became hermits in our own home, we had a bit of fun.
Sullivan had a new friend spend the night. She had a great time with Courtney, and we enjoyed having her.
We spent Pi(e) Day (3.14) with our neighbors. Troy mad a plethora of pies to choose from for dessert, and boy were they yummy.
While the coronavirus has definitely limited our social outings and happenings, it hasn't stopped us dead in our tracks. More to come on some of our (home) adventures.

My favorite was the pineapple rhubarb...delicious!
The kids had fun hanging together too...
We joined a new gym a few weeks back, and Quinn and I have become workout partners.
Quinn was feeling a bit playful this past week and decided to do a "photo shoot"in the lobby!
Cute thing!
