Senior Sunday, Part 26

Then

March 2013

This was one of the girls' favorite things to do - build forts in the bathroom and either do art or read.  Be still my heart.  How I miss those days!

Love is in the Air…

These two love birds celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together this past weekend.

I love how coordinated their outfits are…

I’d have to say they look very cute together!

What a Stunt...

This girly put her heart out there today and tried out for the Stunt team (think cheerleading without the cheer).

The results of tryouts were posted tonight, and I am proud to say we have an official stunter in our house - Sullivan made the team!

We are so incredibly proud of Sullivan and can't wait to see what Stunt has in store for her (and us) this season.

A Little of This…

Days have gotten away from me and some of these pictures now have dust on them, but they are still worth sharing.

Quinn in her ‘new’ work uniform. By new, I mean several months old. But I took this picture and forgot about it.

Quinn and Paul completing their first DIY project together for Quinn’s room. Happy to report it was a successful venture for them!

Someone enjoys tormenting the dog. And by someone, I mean Sullivan. That said, Tessa is not amused.

Sullivan graduated from Driver’s Ed with flying colors. The instructor said she is a pro…

Ryan and I have been busy in a home improvement project. It started like this….

All the holes are to add electrical for some scones. The final product (minus accessories and artwork)…

We drove up to Raising Cane’s in Chapel Hill for some yummy chicken.

If you’ve never had it, it’s delicious and it was definitely worth the 45 minute drive.

I think I have unearthed all the old pictures for now. Hoping that’s it for a little while. 😊

A New Era...

Sullivan entered a new era today....

She started her behind-the-wheel portion of her driver's education.

Tonight's session was 2 hours long.  The instructor said that she did amazing.  He didn't have to use his brake one time and said not one thing made him nervous.  That's a great start!

They traveled the neighborhood for a short while (where we actually saw her driving while we took a walk) before heading to the busy highway.

Next driving session is Saturday morning, where the instructor told her to either choose Downtown Raleigh or the airport! Nothing like tackling either of these on Day #2!!!

So hard to believe that we are here at this juncture where we have two teen drivers.  Holy smokes!

Twinning…

Twinning is winning, or so they say!! These two accidentally dressed alike for school the other day.

They might be exactly twinning it, but pretty close!!
