Halloween sneaked up on us this year. We thought about our costumes early and had a game plan ready. With both girls wanting to be cheerleaders, I thought I had an easy task ahead of me for finding costumes. Having some difficulty finding appropriate outfits, the girls settled on different costumes.
I have to admit, I was a bit saddened by their choices - not because I didn't like what they chose, but because this is the first year that they didn't have coordinating outfits. :( I loved that they always dressed in something similar. That being said, they both were absolutely adorable this year...
Quinn chose to be a scarecrow.
Sullivan chose to be... Sullivan (from Monsters, Inc.)
Together they were an cute, uncoordinated duo....
Our next stop was by Auntie and Uncle's, where their kiddoes were dressed as adorable as can be. Judson was a mailman and Crew was a UPS worker. Elsa was their "special delivery" - although she was not having anything to do with her costume!
We were able to see Grandma Jane while over there, along with Dave and Diana (Matt's parents).
Our last stop was to Uncle Eric's before we headed for home to go trick-or-treating.
The girls had a great time going door to door and getting candy. When we got home, Sullivan instantly dumped her candy and began to count the pieces.
Sullivan counts all the way up to 30 by herself then says,
"31,32,33,34,35,36...
30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37...
30,31,32,33,34...30"
The poor girl counted like that until all of her candy was gone. Then she proudly announces, "I had 35 pieces!!!" Sadly, we was only 70+ pieces off.
All in all it was a good Halloween. Mother Nature was good to us and spared us the snow!
