Sullivan with her friends Gracie and Luna...
Quinn and Sullivan also carved pumpkins a couple days before Halloween. I predicted that it would be another year of them picking out their designs, being interested in "carving" for a hot minute and then Ryan or I finishing out the task by ourselves. Let's be honest, that is how we have always rolled around here.
I am happy to report I was wrong, wrong, wrong! This year the girls were SO engaged and so into wanting to carve their pumpkins. It was a lot of fun to see them so excited.
Quinn chose to make a disco ball pumpkin. We found a new carving kit that punches holes in the pumpkin. It has a colorful strobe light that goes inside. It turned out very neat.
Sullivan chose to carve a spider in her pumpkin. The amount of detail that was involved and the amount of patience Sullivan had was impressive!
The finished products turned out great...
