Our sweet angel turned 8 years old today!
The day started out with a gourmet birthday breakfast, topped with a candle and a wish! Every birthday should start with a wish.
Sullivan quickly put a little pep in her stepped and got dressed. Her class took a trip over to the Superintendent's Office today to recite a rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance. They were asked to wear red, white and blue. Sullivan was happy to oblige.

After supper, Sullivan invited our neighbor, Jack, to join us for cake and ice cream. He didn't miss a beat when he accepted that offer!
Sullivan requested a bunny cake this year. It had been several years since I made their cakes, and Sullivan was reminiscing about them a while back. She asked if I would be willing to make one for her, and really how could I say no?!
