Easter started very early at our house yesterday. 6:00 a.m. to be exact!
Quinn just couldn't sleep and was so excited to find her Easter basket and the numerous eggs that the Easter bunny left. She had no problem waking up her sister, who could sleep through a tornado, to help in the hunt.
The Easter bunny wrote Quinn a note, after Quinn's inquiring note she left for him. She has wondered now for many years how the Easter bunny gets into our house. So she took it upon herself to write him a note. This is what the Easter Bunny wrote back:
"Bippity - Boppity - Boo. Hippity - Hoppity - Hoo. IT'S MAGIC!"
After all the eggs and baskets were found, we headed off to church. Both of the girls looked adorable in their new Easter dresses. You could see Sullivan from a mile away!
After church with the Pooleys, we headed over to Meredith and Matt's house to enjoy Easter lunch and partake in yet another Easter egg hunt! But before the hunt could begin, the cousins posed for a picture together. The last of the cousin pictures where there will only be four - soon the fifth will join them!
Unfortunately, South Dakota weather this time of the year is a little "iffy", and Easter this year was not too kind to us. The hunt required winter coats, hats, and mittens.
The weather didn't deter Quinn and Sullivan from finding their eggs and enjoying themselves!
Judson and Crew weren't able to participate in the hunt, as it was way too cold outside. They cheered us on from inside though!
Inside, the girls couldn't resist a good book. They snuggled up to Grandma Jane as they read.
Aside from the cold weather, it was a fantabulous Easter. The Easter Bunny was definitely good to the girls this year!
