The Last of...

Here are a the last of the pics from graduation weekend with all our great family in town.  

One afternoon we headed to downtown Raleigh to visit the Mordecai House. It is one of the oldest houses in Raleigh and was home to a prominent family in Raleigh at the time.  

Andrew Johnson's birthplace home was in Raleigh, not far from the Mordecai House.  In recent years, the house was relocated to the land that the Mordecai House sits on...

Some time hanging around the house chatting and catching up with one another....

We also all took a trip to the NC State campus so that everyone could see where Quinn will be next year.  

We tried to get a group shot of all of us in front of the campanile.  It took us a few attempts to make sure we could see everyone...

But we finally got a good shot....

Words can't even begin to describe how incredibly fortunate we are for everyone in this picture.  They made the long trip to NC to celebrate Quinn and embrace her in love and support.  We are forever grateful for such wonderful family and an amazing graduation weekend.

Quinn is off to NC State next year, while Krystal will be heading to LSU...they are going to miss each other dearly.

The girls' last day of school was a bit anti-climactic with final exams for Sullivan and a somewhat roving last day for Quinn.  That said, we still captured the obiligatory pictures from the last day with each of the girls.

As always, I am amazed at the growth and maturity from the start of the year to the end of the year!!

She's Graduated...

It's official... Quinn is a high school graduate!!!  

The Class of 2024 graduated Saturday morning... and all these wonderful people came out the cheer Quinn on.

As Student Body Co-president, Quinn (along with a few fellow classmates) got to sit on stage for the commencement ceremony.   They had a little gathering before the ceremony began to discuss logistics...

The ceremony was short, but nicely done.  Quinn and Krystal said a few parting words to the graduates before they led them in the turning of their tassels...

We couldn't be more proud of this graduate...

Quinn has official closed this chapter of her life, and is focused on the next one ahead!
