We had a new member join the family this weekend...
Meet Shayla.
This is Sullivan's baby from her Child Development class. She was in charge of feeding, changing, and soothing the baby all weekend long. She got a crash course on what goes into parenthood and how little sleep you get with an infant.
Needless to say, by the end of the weekend Sullivan was exhausted. She is ready to rehome Shayla tomorrow morning!
Quinn has, on top of a full semester at school, been taking an online, self-paced course to get her Pharmacy Technician certification. She also spent the majority of her Spring Break week not only studying course content, but also learning and memorizing the top 200 drugs.
Countless hours were spent memorizing the generic name, the brand name, the class, the schedule, and the indication (purpose) of each drug. Flashcards were studied morning, noon, and night (literally) and at this stage, I may or may not know a good chunks of the drugs myself after helping Quinn study. 😆
Quinn took her exam this past Sunday....
Quinn said it was one of the most difficult tests she has taken. That said, she preliminarily PASSED! Wahoo! The company has to review video footage and has to double check answers to ensure no scoring irregularities. Pending no irregularities in scoring, she will be a licensed pharmacy technician in a couple of weeks.
We are so incredibly proud of the time, dedication, and hard work she put into the venture. Way to go, Q!
