New Beginnings...

Someone has started herself a new job this week...

After a long and arduous summer of trying to find a job, Sullivan was offered a job as a cashier at Harris Teeter grocery store.  Is it her dream job?! Unlikely.  But the paycheck that comes with the job will definitely motivate her to carry on!   

Junior Year Has Begun...

 Today marks Day 1 of Sullivan's Junior year of high school....

How did we already get here!?

With Sullivan being able to drive to school, long gone are the days of me getting to take her.  Instead, her best friend joined her for first day pictures (and a ride to school)!

Here's to an amazing year ahead!

Settling In...

As I mentioned earlier, Quinn's move-in was a bit of a rocky start.  That said, every situation has a silver lining.  Quinn now has brand new carpet and the nasty smell coming from her room has dissipated.  

We went to her apartment this week to help her get settled in after the carpet was installed.  Her apartment (and her bedroom) are just the cutest thing...

Sullivan joined one evening to see her sis...

This past weekend was Packapalooza - the back to school bash that takes over Hillsbourgh Street with live music, food vendors, tents, clubs, and local businesses.  Ryan and I decided to see what it was all about.  We were joined by the best company...

Fun times!!!

Sophomore Year Has Begun...

Quinn moved (mostly) into her apartment this past weekend.  It didn't come without a few hiccups, but the end will result in some upgrades (new carpet) and then she can fully get settled into her apartment.  

Quinn has the sweetest roommate, Rylee, and together they are looking forward to an amazing sophomore year at NC State.  

Today marked the first day of class for NC State.  Unprompted, Quinn sent me a first day of school picture. So here is the first day of sophomore year...

She knows how to make her mama happy.  Go out and make great things happen this year, Q!  We can't wait to see what you do. 

Fun in the ATL...

We escaped to Atlanta last weekend for an end of summer quick getaway.  It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but we packed a ton into a short amount of time.  

We drove through Greenville, SC on our way down to Atlanta.  We had zero expectations of Greenville - only knowing that they had a Falls that ran through their downtown.  Boy, were Ryan and I pleasantly impressed.  The girls, on the other hand, were meh.

In Atlanta, we visited the World Of Coca-Cola Museum.  

We visited the Olympic Park area and walked around a bit....

We also visited the Georgia Aquarium... which we HIGHLY recommend.  

We spent a good chunk of an entire day at the aquarium and likely could have spent a bit more, but... baseball.

We were able to sneak in a Braves baseball game after the aquarium, despite the rainy and very gloomy weekend.  It rained a little bit, but nothing to keep us away. 

The weekend was quick, but so many memories were made and it was the perfect getaway before school starts back up again.

New Wheels...

 Someone got themselves a new (to them) car today...

She is now the proud driver of a VW Tiagun.

That said someone likes her new car and her new freedom!!
