Sad Looking Tree...

Nana and Papa decided to scale back their Christmas tree this year because they wanted to accommodate Murphy, Eric's dog.  They were afraid in all his puppiness that he would knock it over or get into it.  They still wanted a real tree, so they ventured off and found a tree they thought would do the trick.  They placed the tree on an end table so that it would be elevated and off the ground.

Once Papa got it set up, he decided to trim it up.  Except he decided to do it from the top.  So what they ended up with is a small mid section of a tree.  It was quite the sight to see.  Nana likened it to a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.  Anyway, here it is...

The poor angel is off centered due to the trimming and how off centered the stump of the tree was.  This tree got quite the chuckle this year.  It was a tree like no other!
